Quality Assurance Audit Initial Review During our initial review we survey your entire elevator systems including machine room, car top, hoistway, pit, cab interior and hoistway signal equipment. A stop watch and spring gauge are used to check floor-to-floor performances, door open and close times, and door closing pressure. A tachometer is utilized to confirm the elevators are running at contract speed. Action Plan Upon completion of our initial audit we prepare a maintenance deficiency list and develop a detailed action plan for your elevator service company. The action plan clearly defines the changes in maintenance procedures that will be followed to ensure improved performance.
